We are recruiting for a leading consulting firm in Ireland, that is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager for its outsourcing business. This is a client facing, service delivery and advisory role, where the incumbent would manage a team responsible for the payroll of a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. This position can be based in either Dublin or Cork.
The position sits within a specialist team that primarily services complex large-scale and Multinational Companies (MNCs), as the point of contact for their global requirements. The team is a group of dedicated specialists who are focused on providing global payroll solutions to the firm’s clients.
This role will suit an experienced, motivated payroll professional who is willing and interested in further developing their career in a leading global firm.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Co-ordinating the delivery of client payroll processing via a Global Payroll Platform, working in conjunction with member firm payroll teams.
* Manage the resolution of payroll issues utilising the international network of the firm to procure and co-ordinate solutions to client queries.
* Supporting clients in short term project engagements, payroll audits and short-term staff shortages.
* Leading implementation teams to on-board new clients through their payroll transition from a current provider to the firm’s payroll service.
* Managing projects to improve service delivery for our clients via automation & process improvements.
* Onsite and offsite client payroll support with end-to-end processing of domestic and international payrolls.
* Recruitment, development and training of junior team members.
* Monitoring KPI’s and adherence to service delivery schedules for clients.
* Billing and client take on administration.
* Involvement in client proposals.

* Payroll qualification.
* Proven track record in a payroll role with an intention to pursue a career in international payroll.
* Excellent computer skills (MS Office) including strong excel skills.
