Job Description
As a Receptionist at Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and smooth operations to produce excellent feedback and guest satisfaction.
You will respond to guests in a professional and courteous manner by providing accurate and timely information and services.
You will also ensure hotel charges are processed diligently to guests' accounts, invoices are accurate, billing instructions are verified, and all necessary supporting bills and vouchers are attached for direct settlements.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising the operations of the front desk to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to guests.
* Maintaining outstanding customer care at all times and maintaining a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor.
* Courteously and accurately answering inquiries from potential guests and accepting hotel reservations.
* Using suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy, and revenue.
* Supervising daily shift processes, ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.
* Training, directing the work of, resolving issues/problems, coaching, and counseling front desk team members to ensure a quality operation.
* Resolving customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick and efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
* Allocating rooms to expected arrivals after checking guests' preferences and special requests.
* Building strong relationships and liaising with all other departments, especially housekeeping, reservations, etc.
* Performing other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in a hotel is essential.
Experience with Hot Soft or Similar systems is required.
