Automation Maintenance Technician
The Automation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for generating and maintaining assets managed by small core teams at Edenderry Power Plant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure maintenance plans and targets are achieved safely, economically, and within environmental limits.
* Carry out PM/other works and report to the Maintenance Management System.
* Perform preventative maintenance on control and instrumentation systems for all assets.
* Nominated person for local support of IT infrastructure including office network and data historian development.
* Implement Integrated Single Electricity Market (I-SEM) software systems enabling trading of generating assets in new markets.
Person Specification:
* Appropriate technical qualifications (B.Tech or equivalent).
* At least 5 years of experience in maintaining heavy process industries or power plants.
* Excellent IT skills with the ability to think logically and solve problems from first principles.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
