Key Responsibilities
The successful Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:
* Managing the entire supply chain from customer service and order management through to shipment of finished goods to distribution centers.
* Ensuring production planning aligns with customer demand and needs are met on time and in full.
* Leveraging leadership skills to demonstrate integrity, accountability, and a positive attitude in all interactions as part of the senior leadership team.
* Overseeing the production kitting function to ensure timely delivery of production work orders.
* Leading capacity planning to optimize resource utilization and meet production demands.
* Tracking and reporting performance metrics to provide management with a comprehensive overview of planning accuracy.
* Analyzing forecasts and orders to project capacity requirements and support labor planning.
* Developing and maintaining planning procedures and collaborating with Doc Control to ensure updates.
* Applying and managing company processes and procedures to meet ISO, internal, corporate, notified body, and audit requirements in planning, customer service, and warehouse departments.
* Collaborating with suppliers and customers to manage demand and prevent backorders.
* Working with R&D and manufacturing engineering groups to plan builds required for verification or validation activities.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Prior experience in a Senior Procurement or Supply Chain Management position.
* A third-level degree in a related field (Supply Chain Management, Business, etc.).
* Multiple years of professional experience with contract manufacturing and/or strategic sourcing in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience in a high-regulated industry.
* A background in planning and procurement.
* Excellent systems skills, including ERP and Excel.
* Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration.
* Highly organized with attention to detail.
* Excellent client management and negotiation skills.
* Highest levels of hard work and reliability.
