Product Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of innovative, high-quality food products that meet consumer needs and preferences in the Irish market.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, formulate, and launch new products that comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Stay up-to-date with evolving trends and guidelines in the food industry, including FSAI and HACCP regulations.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field; Master's degree or higher is advantageous.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in new product development within the food manufacturing sector, specifically in prepared meals or food service industries.
* Proven track record in product development formulation, sensory analysis, and gap analysis.
* Experience in managing cross-functional teams to develop market-ready food products.
Preferred Skills
* Strong knowledge of food trends and consumer preferences in the Irish market.
* Ability to translate trends and customer needs into successful food products.
* Excellent communication and project management skills.
