Position: Commercial Finance Manager

Rocketsuite has been engaged by an international construction company based in County Kildare in their search for a Commercial Finance Manager.
If you're a Qualified Accountant with construction experience and at least two years of PQE, looking to step into a commercially focused finance role, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.
The role:
* Managing the balance sheet by tracking all associated project costs and liabilities, reconciling them monthly, and collaborating with the commercial and accounts teams to minimise both WIP and debtor days on projects.
* Collaborating with the management accountant to ensure proper allocation of all materials procured for projects to their respective contracts.
* Coordinating with the company's procurement team to ensure delivery requirements are met on behalf of the commercial team.
* Ensuring the project budget is finalised in collaboration with the Commercial and Accounts teams, and then uploaded into the ERP system for effective project performance tracking.
* Monitoring project performance and reporting any variances against the approved budget.
* Coordinating with Quantity Surveyors on each project to ensure their Cost Value Reconciliation reports are accurately aligned with the original project budget.
* Reviewing the project budget with the Quantity Surveyors to ensure their CVR reports align with the financial reports for each project's contract, ensuring that recognised profits are consistent with the expected project profitability.
The candidate:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 2 years PQE.
* Experience within the construction industry.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask on various projects will be required.
* Strong Excel skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: verbal, written, report writing, presentation.
