Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Cork, Ireland
Our client is seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead a small but efficient team of three within their Cork-based warehouse. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of inventory management, and optimizing the flow of goods in and out of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership & Management:
o Supervise, motivate, and manage a team of three warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.
o Conduct regular team meetings to review goals, provide updates, and address any concerns.
o Oversee staff training, development, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Operational Excellence:
o Plan and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
o Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
o Monitor and enforce efficient workflows and adherence to company procedures.
* Inventory Control:
o Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
o Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
o Work closely with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager to plan inventory levels and replenishment cycles.
* Health & Safety Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments as required.
o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
* Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
o Provide input on operational strategies and support the implementation of new systems or practices.
Experience & Skills:
* Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or similar role.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Commitment to health and safety practices.
* Forklift license or relevant certification.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
