**Job Title:** Project Worker
**Location:** High Park Family Hub, Dublin 9
**Job Purpose:** To work as part of a team supporting families in Supported Temporary Accommodation (STA) to secure long-term accommodation.
**Key Responsibilities:
1. Admit families to the service, providing a full induction and welcome.
2. Support families to establish tenancies by identifying suitable properties, searching online listings, contacting landlords and letting agencies, and accompanying families to viewings.
3. Assist families with Housing Assistance Payment (HAP), understanding tenancy agreements, and negotiating rents with landlords.
4. Conduct assessments, develop support plans, and update the Pathway Accommodation & Support System (PASS).
5. Facilitate access to local services, such as medical, welfare, training, education, and employment, and advocate on behalf of families.
6. Develop relationships with local services and agencies, maintaining accurate records and reporting incidents as necessary.
**Person Specification:
- Relevant Level 7 Qualification (e.g., Social Care, Social Policy, Addiction Studies, Social Science, Housing & Welfare)
- Knowledge of Pathways to Home, HAP, HNAs, and SLI
- Minimum one year working in homelessness and knowledge of homelessness causes, services, addiction, and mental health
- Experience managing complex situations in client-based services
- Working knowledge of Child Protection
- Ability to work within professional boundaries, treating clients non-judgmentally and respectfully
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work on a roster including evenings and weekends
- Garda Vetting conducted on an ongoing basis
**Salary:** €40,018 - €51,788
