Role Overview
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting the overall success of our store. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in day-to-day operations, leading by example to drive sales, provide exceptional customer service, and guide a team towards the store's profitability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse sales and performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement and provide recommendations to the Store Manager.
* Train and empower the store team to deliver exceptional performance in all areas of responsibility including product skills, customer service, CRM, VM, remote and shop floor sales.
* Evaluate and communicate team payroll changes to HR.
* Support the Store Manager in managing staff rota to ensure effective floor coverage and smooth store operations.
* Assist the Store Manager in completing administrative responsibilities such as sales reports, petty cash, shipping records, vendor records, and HR records.
* Develop and maintain relationships with customers, focusing on building customer loyalty.
* Support the Store Manager in managing daily team briefings.
* Aid in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
* Oversee delivery of goods to ensure timely and efficient stock management.
* Promote career growth by identifying potential paths and encouraging professional development while continuously reviewing team performance.
* Address employee concerns, conflicts, and issues with a supportive and empathetic approach.
