What will you be doing? You will be reporting directly to the Senior Financial Accountant International you will have responsibility for a broad range of month-end accounting processes and financial analysis.
This role will be a key liaison between the finance team and operations across a range of value creating activities.
Key Responsibilities: Preparing monthly accounts, annual financial statements, general ledger maintenance and all reconciliations.Managing intercompany accounts including issuing & receiving charges, agreeing balances monthly, and working directly with accountants of other capSpire group companies for consistent accounting treatment.Tracking & recording of all transactions for the local company and branch.Preparing accounts receivable and processing of accounts payable.Reconciling the bank accounts weekly.Posting of month-end accruals and prepayments.Processing staff expenses for monthly reimbursement.Coordinating with external accounting advisors to support their audit of the accounts and preparation of the tax returns.Preparation & submission of Revenue Returns (VAT, VIES and DWT).Reviewing monthly results with management and assisting with periodic budgeting & forecasting.Liaising with and maintaining strong working relationships with local suppliers and bankers.Regular review of internal processes and systems to drive continuous improvement where necessary.Requirements: An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA)3+ years of accounting experience.A solid understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, reporting, financial analysis and forecasting.Quickbooks experience is desirable, but not essentialStrong Microsoft Office experience essentialIT or service sector experience preferred, but not essentialWhat to expect at capSpire As part of a capSpire team, you'll experience the full project life-cycle and be part of a dynamic team in which diversity, camaraderie and professional excellence are celebrated.
