EU Programme Executive (3 Year FTC)

The salary scale for this role is €51,349 - €70,450; with Long Service increments of LSI1: €72,982 & LSI2: €75,511.
New Entrants to the Public Sector commence on the first point of the Scale.

Our purpose is to bring Ireland’s outstanding food, drink and horticulture to the world, thus enabling growth and sustainability of producers, in conjunction with the EU co-funded campaigns purpose of creating scale of investment for highly targeted B2B and B2C campaigns to defend our positioning in established markets and to prepare the ground in new high-potential growth markets.
In this role, you will manage aspects of the implementation of EU Co-Funded Information & Promotion Campaigns with a particular focus on the EU Dairy Ingredients campaign in China, Singapore and Vietnam.
What you’ll do
1. As an integral member of the broader Marketing Team, develop a collaborative relationship with the implementing body, evaluation agency and internal sectors team in delivering a world class EU Dairy Ingredients promotion campaign.
2. Co-ordinate and assist with creative content development, implementation and evaluation for all promotional work packages (campaign launch, digital assets, PR, events, trade shows, and inward study visits).
3. Validate all marketing assets for use in the EU Dairy Ingredients Programme, ensuring they are in line with the campaign strategy, industry needs and the EU Regulation.
4. Champion and ensure the digitization, accessibility and archiving of all campaign collateral into a central repository system(s).
5. Develop and circulate periodic updates on the schedule of campaign events and initiatives with internal and external stakeholders, and in liaison with the EU Programme Specialist.
6. Manage and develop a programme of inward study visits, assist in the recruitment and co-ordination of technical expert speakers to speak at seminars within markets.
7. Assist in the annual self-audit process, to include compiling and submitting technical reports to the EU Commission ahead of set deadlines.
8. Assist in developing pipeline application for future EU promotions.
9. To actively contribute on all aspects of EU Co-funding strategy execution and the One Bord Bia annual planning process.
About You
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities
Knowledge:
* 3+ years’ experience as a marketing practitioner, with experience in Marketing Communication projects from planning through to execution and evaluation.
* Knowledge of the EU/Irish food and horticultural sectors.
* Experience researching markets, analysing and interpreting information.
* Delivery of successful, metric driven B2B and B2C promotions.
Skills & Capabilities:
* Digital first mindset.
* Comfortable with an agile culture focused on continuous improvement.
* Strong attention to detail in budget management and report writing.
* Proven experience of building credible professional relationships with industry, business contacts, senior executives.
* Excellent organisational and time management ability.
* A strong aptitude for systems and processes.
* Strong appreciation of software applications (Salesforce, Power BI, Microsoft suite).
