The project:
The role is within the chief infrastructure office of a semi-state organisation in Ireland responsible for the delivery of offshore wind projects across Ireland.
Responsibilities within this role will include managing these projects from conceptual phase through feasibility, statutory planning assessment and consent to handover for detailed design and construction phase.
The role will involve a combination of office-based working and visits to sites where assets are located in the South East of Ireland.

You will deliver and manage project plans from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of senior project managers and other leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.

You'll need to have:
Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Experience conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions, or new ways of doing things.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proficiency in English required.
Commercial awareness with the ability to make decisions and recommendations in all aspects of project implementation.
Good analytical and IT skills.
Full drivers licence.
You'll also have:
Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
Commercial and financial acumen.
Experience of working on projects within large, diverse teams.
Experience of developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
