Our client is one of the leading retail and SME banks in Ireland, rapidly growing and seeking a Branch Lead for their city centre branch.
Your Responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate daily branch activities to optimize capacity and efficiency.
* Coach colleagues to embed key learnings from Blackbelt training, including enhanced customer engagement and education on available channels.
* Drive business development within the branch and local community to attract, retain, and grow key customer cohorts and maximize opportunities.
* Develop relationships with local professionals, such as solicitors, accountants, estate agents, and employers.
* Measure the success of business development activities and adapt plans to achieve the greatest results.
* Manage risk and control to ensure regulatory compliance, minimize risk, and complete work efficiently.
* Ensure security of laptops, bank assets, and customer data policies are met.
* Lead by example and promote good compliant performance, recognizing the importance of getting it right first time.
* Understand and promote the customer segmentation ethos.
* Optimize sales support tools and channels to increase revenue for the business.
* Ensure the branch team remains fully compliant with industry standards and regulations.
* Support staff development and performance, celebrating success and addressing underperformance through regular feedback and documented reviews.
* Manage complaints according to Group Policy and Procedure, taking ownership of decisions and facilitating engagement in the decision-making process.
Requirements:
* Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) recognized qualification to discuss product information and provide advice to customers.
* Full Valid Driver's Licence.
* Proven experience in retail finance sales and service, ideally at Branch level.
* Proven leader with the ability to motivate a sales team to deliver on objectives.
* Competitor knowledge and market awareness.
* Experience in business development and selling, with excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
