As a Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper, you will be compiling year-end financial statements from source documents.
Responsibilities:
* Preparing diverse tax calculations and filings, such as Corporation Tax and Income Tax.
* Overseeing accounts payable and receivable.
* Aiding in the creation of monthly management reports.
* Performing bank reconciliations.
* Administering payroll and managing PAYE.
* Submitting VAT returns and ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
* Offering administrative support for financial operations.
* Gaining opportunities to enhance tax expertise and explore other areas of interest.
Requirements:
* Previously worked as an Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
* Possess 1+ years of experience in accountancy practice.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Xero, Freeagent, QuickBooks.
* Skilled in year-end accounts, trial balance preparation, VAT processing, payroll management, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliation.
