Their firm is committed to providing exceptional legal services with compassion and professionalism, particularly in cases involving children, matrimonial, cohabitation, and separation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist solicitors in preparing and managing family law cases, including those involving children, divorce, cohabitation, and separation.
* Briefing counsel, taking client instructions, drafting statements, attending meetings with clients and counsel
* Conduct legal research and draft documents such as court forms, witness statements, and correspondence.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.
* Communicate effectively with clients, providing empathetic support and clear legal guidance.
* Liaise with courts, barristers, and other external parties as required.
* Assist in preparing for court hearings and trials.
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience as a paralegal in family law, particularly in cases involving children, matrimonial disputes, cohabitation, and separation.
* Skillset: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise with clients in sensitive situations.
* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with case management software.
