Maintenance Coordinator Job Description
This role involves coordinating all maintenance and equipment activities, including maintenance technicians & sub-contractors, and analyzing computerized maintenance system data for efficient evolution of the maintenance program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate workflow and documentation of Planned Maintenance (PM) and Work Orders (WOs)
* Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities, both internal and external resources, using SAP S/4 HANA to ensure timely completion
* BUILD AND EVOLVE DATABASE OF PLANNED MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES, PLANNED CALIBRATION ACTIVITIES & SPARE PARTS
* Organize physical stores and conduct periodic counts of spares
* Oversee workflow through Maintenance Team
* Collate Work Orders by Type to generate scopes of work. Equipment Repairs / Production Support / Process Improvements / Root Cause Analysis / Insulation / Building Maintenance / Painter / Plumber / Electrical
* Work Levelling of PMs / Cals across Technician Team
* Reporting on Closure Rates
* Escalation of Overdue Schedules
* Liaise with Production Planners/Supervisors to agree windows for works
* Recognize urgency of tasks and separate reactive and proactive requirements
* Coordinate tasks and assist in measuring performance of maintenance works
* Work with Engineering Director & Maintenance Lead to investigate causes of breakdown and identify implement corrective action to avoid recurrence
* Assist investigating and documenting procedural operational deviations
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as related to equipment maintenance functions
* Arrange repairs, such as complete overhauls, replacement of defective valves, gaskets, or bearings motors, pumps, or fabrication of new parts etc.
Requirements:
* Experience as Maintenance Planner / Co-Ordinator
* Experience of SAP S/4 Hana essential
* Completion of Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation apprenticeship or Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering desired
* Experience in maintenance profession, including good mechanical, electrical or instrumentation skills
* Ability to work in team environment and communicate well
* Knowledge of engineering/process instrumentation
* Knowledge of non-manufacturing processes, utilities and systems that support overall running of plant
Estimated Salary:
$90,000 - $110,000 per year
