Site Manager - Renewable Energy Experience RequiredWaterford Based***THIS IS AN URGENT FILL SO MUST BE RESIDING IN IRELAND***This role involves hands-on supervision and management from the start of on-site operations through to commissioning and post-installation support.Once a project is underway, the site manager, in collaboration with the project engineer or project manager, is responsible for delivering the project efficiently while maintaining budgetary constraints.This is a minimum 12 month contract with the opportunity of an extension.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee electrical and mechanical installations of renewable energy solutions.Maintain accurate site documentation in line with PSCS requirements.Implement and enforce quality, environmental, health, and safety (QEHS) standards on-site.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely and quality execution.Manage supplier relationships and material deliveries.Develop and oversee work schedules to maintain project timelines.Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures.Provide technical guidance and support to clients as needed.Interpret and execute project Scope of Work (SOW) accurately.Communicate project updates to project managers and senior leadership.Continuously develop technical expertise to stay up to date with industry advancements.Foster a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge and mentoring team members.Keep informed on industry trends and best practices.Perform additional tasks and responsibilities relevant to the role.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.Work towards key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency and success.Skills & Experience RequiredProven site supervision or management experience.Possession of Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications (additional certifications such as MEWP, First Aid, Confined Space, Abrasive Wheels, Hot Works, and Working at Height are a plus).Strong ability to manage subcontractors and scheduling.Experience in roofing, scaffolding, and PSCS coordination.At least two years of experience in a site management role.A valid and clean driving license is essential.Knowledge of renewable energy technologies such as Solar PV, Wind Turbines, and Biomass Boilers is beneficial.Familiarity with electrical design in renewable energy systems is advantageous.Experience with grid connections and compliance would be highly desirable.If you are interested in the position please apply to cian@searchtalent.ieSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionProject Management and Information TechnologyIndustriesServices for Renewable Energy, Construction, and Engineering Services
