**Quality Engineer Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support our global teams in Ireland and the US on a 12-month contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the business in ensuring alignment and execution of KDP's Food Safety and Quality Management System expectations and requirements.
* Collaborate with Sr. Quality Engineers to develop and implement corporate Quality, Food Safety, and Regulatory Compliance requirements for all raw materials.
* Ensure correct qualification, validation, and/or verification of new and existing suppliers according to KDP standards, working closely with QEHS teams and R&D.
* Develop and review Supplier Quality policies and procedures, maintaining robust supplier chemical management programs and practices that reduce risk and deliver compliance to KDP.
* Support the Chemical Working Group and manage Approved Supplier Lists across the network.
* Identify potential issues affecting raw materials and/or finished products through software scanning and incorporate this information into risk assessments.
* Analyze and report performance metrics, integrating quality management systems to achieve alignment across the business networks.
Requirements:
* Ensure compliance with policies so that performance and quality of services conform to established standards and agency guidelines.
* Provide Corporate Quality Assurance support to manufacturing operations teams, ensuring strong cross-functional communications and guidance on KDP quality standards.
* Perform other duties as requested by management.
