Job description General Foreman required for an established construction company based in North Dublin.
All work is located in North Dublin We are looking to add more experience to the solid workforce we currently have in place You will be joining a construction company with a permanent work schedule that will give the right candidate job security moving forward.
Experience The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience managing in residential construction.
Experience of both renovation and new builds essential.
Setting out/excavation.
Proven experience of managing from the ground up is essential.
A trade background is preferable for this position.
Steel installation & temporary support setup experience is essential.
Good communication skills with design teams and clients are very important.
Ability to think ahead and foresee problems in advance.
Having a positive attitude when working with staff and contractors.
Main duties would include but not be limited to: Managing directly employed staff on site.
Liaising with and supervising all subcontractors.
Ensuring materials are ordered in advance of them being required.
Ensuring the quality of our work meets the high standards we have set ourselves.
Working to and keeping in line with the project program to ensure our completion dates are met.
On site health and safety.
Pay:
