Ballyfin Demesne proudly holds 3 Michelin Keys for our fabulous property located at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains in Co. Laois.
We are also the proud recipient of a Michelin star for our fine dining restaurant headed by our talented chef, Richard Picard Edwards.
Our Guest Experience is of the utmost importance at Ballyfin and as such exceptional Customer Service is a must.
We are looking for a hardworking individual who has previous experience working in a Michelin-star restaurant.
The successful candidate will have a passion for food and beverage, exceptional customer service and teamwork.

This is a full-time, permanent position, 5 days over 7 days, Monday to Sunday.
The position is for our dinner service so the shift will be approximately 4 pm to closing.
Duties Include (but not limited to:) As a chef de rang, your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional service and ensure a memorable dining experience for guests. Welcome guests to the restuarant and show them to their table As a host and service professional, you will explain the menu, order of service and answer any questions that the guest may have Responsible for taking orders of food and beverage ensuring no errors are made and all dietary requirements have been confirmed. Liaising with the kitchen team and chefs as required Team work is essential - assist and train colleagues as and when required Communicate the details of each dish to the guest and answer any questions Serve and clear plates and crocery as required Working with the F&B team and Kitchen to ensure clear communication to enhance the guest experience. Develop a strong knowledge on all that Ballyfin has to offer including history, food, beverage, activities etc The Ideal Candidate At least one year previous experience working in a fine-dining or Michelin star restuarant Mature and charismatic individual Impeccable attention to detail Excellent communicator and team player Exert a friendly and apprachable manner Have a geniune passion for food, beverage and hospitality If you think that you tick all of these boxes, then we want to hear from you!
