Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant in a community-based setting.
Job Description:
This is a Part-Time, permanent position with flexible working hours. The role involves providing high-quality care and assistance to clients as per their Care Plan, including personal care, toileting, meal preparation, moving & transferring, supervise medication.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain a client-centric approach that prioritises and safeguards the well-being and interests of clients.
* Deliver high quality care and assistance to clients as per their Care Plan.
* Regularly report to your Line Manager on any significant changes in a client's physical, behavioural, or social condition.
* Undertake a range of Personal and Practical Care Duties with utmost professionalism and empathy.
* Collaborate effectively within a flexible caregiving team, offering general support as needed.
Requirements:
* FETAC/QQI Level 5 Award or equivalent qualification in the Care Skills and Care of the Older Person modules.
* Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
* A minimum of 1 year's relevant experience within the healthcare industry.
