About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Waterford. This is a 12-month position, working on a 24/5, 3-shift schedule.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out repair and maintenance tasks on Process and Facilities Equipment, ensuring compliance with Quality and Safety standards and GMP regulations.
Main Responsibilities
* Carry out repair and maintenance tasks on equipment to achieve acceptable production output levels
* Input data into the Maintenance PM System and operate such systems
* Compile data and schedules to generate preventative maintenance programs
* Liaise with vendors to define maintenance schedules and order spare parts
You will also be required to:
* Train others on equipment operation and maintenance procedures
* Operate and maintain equipment to achieve acceptable production output levels
* Conduct maintenance duties in a safe manner and report any safety issues or concerns
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
* Junior & Senior trades certificate or equivalent third-level qualification
