Our client is looking to hire an Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team. The successful candidate will be involved in preparing financial accounts, AP/AR process and month-end procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
* Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
* Assist in the preparation of accounts up to trial balance.
* Post journals, accruals, and prepayments in line with financial procedures.
* Support the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
* Conduct cash reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
* Assist in preparing reports and supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks.
Key Requirements:
* At least two/three years’ experience in a similar position.
* ATI/AITI or similar accounting qualification.
* Proficiency in the Sage accounting software and strong excel skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
