CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce we are now accepting CVs for the role of Person In Charge with our client in a disability service in Meath.
Our client provides support to over people across County Meath and North County Dublin. They pride themselves on providing their service users with intellectual disabilities with such support and help them to reach their full potential in their everyday lives.
A successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the residential house as well as carrying out the social care responsibilities as part of the remit of this PIC role. This residential house is currently a single occupancy house and will involve lone working.
This role will involve shift work including sleepovers and the requirement to be on call. The PIC will report to the Area Manager. This role will be 39 hours per week and will be based in Navan.
Essential Requirements:
1. Must have a minimum of a level 7 qualification in one of the following: Social Care, Nursing or other relevant discipline that is recognised by CORU
2. Relevant management qualification or working towards same.
3. Must be eligible for registration with CORU and must obtain registration by November
4. Ideally a minimum of 3 years supervisory/managerial experience within a similar health or social care setting
5. A full clean manual driver's license
6. Strong Leadership and organizational skills
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
8. Highly proficient IT skills
