Project Planner Role at Leading Construction Company
We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our dynamic team in Limerick, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering pharmaceutical construction projects of the highest standards.
About the Role:
As a Project Planner, you will take ownership of the project schedule within the EPCM scope, manage subcontractor interfaces, and contribute to wider project controls. With a strong focus on teamwork and technical excellence, this position offers the chance to work on challenging, innovative projects while collaborating with skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the project schedule for the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management) scope.
* Coordinate and participate in interactive planning and project meetings.
* Establish and maintain an earned value progress reporting system.
* Manage interfaces with sub-contractors, ensuring smooth workflows and compliance with project milestones.
* Support wider project controls, including tender and contract milestone management and extension-of-time evaluations.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical construction projects.
* Degree in engineering, technical discipline, or similar.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team of planners.
* Strong technical knowledge, with proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering deliverables and drawings.
* Familiarity with design deliverables and sub-contractor mobilisation activities.
* Proven proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and the MS Office Suite.
* Experience in multi-user P6 environments (e.g., Loadspring).
Preferred Skills:
* Last Planner system interface experience.
* 4D BIM experience is advantageous but not required.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
