We are currently recruiting Food & Beverage Manager for a prominent 4* Hotel in Cork Your main responsibility would be to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the food, beverage areas on a day to day basis, ensuring guests requests are met at all times and revenue is maximised and costs controlled. Other duties of the role include: To ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay from all departmental personnel To ensure systems are in place to handle all guest queries promptly and efficiently To ensure we always offer guests consistently high standards of quality through training and monitoring To empower, encourage and promote employees to make on the spot guest satisfaction decisions To efficiently and effectively control your departmental operations To ensure Hotel standards are achieved at all times Ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, appearance, body language and conduct of employees is maintained by all employees in department To ensure SOP manuals are kept up to date and ensure employees are trained and carry out the agreed standard. To make any changes necessary and ensure all are aware of changes To carry out Duty Management shifts to the standards required To ensure that the relevant persons from each department is carrying out training and that each team member is been trained in accordance with Hotel standards To carry out a regular review of departmental Training needs in conjunction with relevant people within the department and to ensure a departmental training plan is put in place. To ensure all training is recorded in accordance with agreed procedures To attend training as required and to ensure that employees attend training as required To ensure all accident and incidents are investigated and reported to the relevant people and to assist in providing all relevant backup. To ensure all investigations and appropriate action is taken to ensure incident does not re occur.
