Our client in the flooring industry is seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to manage and expand their customer base in the West of Ireland.
About the Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will drive revenue, strengthen customer relationships, and represent market-leading brands with passion, respect, excellence, and entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities
* Grow business by developing sales in existing and new market sectors
* Build strong relationships with trading partners and customers
* Drive brand visibility through display materials and POS branding
* Deliver expert product training to customers and partners
* Maintain accurate records in CRM system, including weekly calls and sales reports
* Stay ahead of market trends and provide valuable insights
* Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service, Credit Control, and Marketing
* Attend exhibitions, roadshows, and sales meetings
* Manage customer inquiries and complaints professionally
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of field sales experience
* Proactive and results-driven approach
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong IT skills (including MS PowerPoint & Excel) and experience with CRM systems
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
