Front Office Manager for luxury boutique property in central Dublin, day-time hours available We have an excellent opportunity with this luxury boutique property for a talented hotel manager with good all-round abilities and a strong background in Front Office/Reservations/Revenue.
The Front Office Manager is a hands-on role responsible for the delivery of a flawless experience to all guests from booking to departure.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure the smooth daily operations of the front desk and superior guest service delivery.
Manage front office team:
training & development, rotas, holidays, HR issues etc.
Manage / monitor rates (corporates, groups, weddings, opening/closing rates etc), ensuring ideal revenue mix and profitablity.
Monitor competitive set and take appropriate actions as required.
Maintain up to date knowledge of Dublin events / happenings that can impact occupancy and revenue.
Regular guest interaction including rooming guests and responding to guest feedback.
Duty management shifts.
The ideal candidate:
Experienced hotel manager with strong Front Office/Reservations background in a top quality property.
Very high standards of guest service with the ability to train others to the same standards.
Confident, effective manager, able to assume full responsibility of the property as required on duty management shifts.
Highly organised and focussed individual.
Systems-driven individual who can implement and monitor policies and procedures.
Strong revenue, sales and financial acumen.
Strong IT skills competency in Microsoft Office, PMS, revenue tools.
Positive can-do attitude, flexible and willing to work as part of small team.
Good knowledge of Dublin market.
