The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud computing, familiar with best practices for applications, servers, and networks, and has a strong interest in helping customers understand application architectures and integration approaches.
About the Role
This exciting role supports AWS Serverless technologies, including Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions. As a member of the AWS Support team, you will interact with leading engineers worldwide, partner with internal AWS teams to resolve customer issues, and leverage your expertise to provide feedback on service improvements.
Daily Responsibilities
* Learn and utilize groundbreaking technologies.
* Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customer needs.
* Interact with leading engineers around the world.
* Partner with internal AWS teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
* Leverage extensive customer support experience to provide feedback on service improvements.
* Drive customer communication during critical events.
* Drive projects that improve support-related processes and customer technical support experience.
A Day in the Life
As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will primarily focus on solving customer cases through various contact channels, including telephone, email, and live chat. You will apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions and drive customer interactions by working closely with customers to identify root causes of issues.
Requirements
* 2-4 years of relevant experience.
* Experience with System Administration (Linux and/or Microsoft Windows Server).
* Experience in Networking technologies (DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, DHCP, Load Balancing).
* Experience with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby, PHP).
