Job Title: Director of QA (Software)
Our client is a fast-growing tech-healthcare company that is revolutionising patient care with cutting-edge software solutions.
The company is seeking a highly skilled Director of QA (Software) to lead and scale their Quality Assurance function.
Role Overview:
As the Director of QA, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the quality strategy, ensuring high standards across the software development lifecycle.
You will lead a team of QA engineers and work closely with engineering, product, and regulatory teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing healthcare technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
* Lead, mentor, and scale a team of QA engineers across manual and automated testing.
* Implement best practices for test automation, CI/CD, and performance testing.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare technology regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO, HIPAA, GDPR).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software reliability and security.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within QA processes.
* Report on quality metrics and drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Strong expertise in automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based testing environments.
* Experience working within regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, fintech).
* Proven ability to build and scale QA teams in an Agile environment.
* Hands-on experience with modern QA tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit).
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
