Position: Business Development Manager
Location - Field based in the region of Cork City
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 5:00pm
Salary- €40,000 PA with €40,000 commission and car allowance

Within our Radius Connect Solutions telecoms solution we are looking for a Business Development Manager, to win new telecoms solutions (Cloud Hosted Telephony, business broadband and mobile phone) contracts. We are an independent supplier and have access to market leading portfolios from key suppliers including Vodafone, EE, O2, NFON, Gamma and BT.
The role …
The Business Development Manager- Telecoms Solutions is a core sales team member in Radius Connect. The role will involve selling our product portfolio across your territory in the Republic of Ireland.
Key responsibilities of the role
* Engaging directly with executive level decision makers in a wide range of commercial business sector customers
* Self-generating new sales opportunities as well as responding to sales leads created by our office-based teams
* Achieve set monthly and quarterly sales targets
* Develop strategic understanding of our existing and prospective new customers including size, turnover, key stakeholders and business strategy
* Work closely with product specialists (including key suppliers) and implementation team on all new customers – ensuring their journey from prospect to customer is seamless and professional
* Using your strong commercial acumen to create competitive, compelling proposals for our customers
The experience and skills that we are looking for include:
* Minimum of 2 years sales experience, ideally in field or B2B sales
* Full driving License required with access to a car insured for business travel purposes
* Proven to be excellent at self-generating new business opportunities
* Proven experience of closing sales opportunities and achieving allocated sales targets
* Previous experience working within the telecoms sector (mobile phone, broadband, on premise or cloud based telephony solutions) will be advantageous
