Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist Job include:
1. Resolve issues in Enterprise and e-commerce platforms through cross-functional relationships.
2. Analyse and review e-commerce payments and files, ensuring automatic application of payments.
3. Post and apply multi-currency customer receipts to customer accounts daily.
4. Review and analyse payment files received via electronic banking systems.
5. Manage a shared mailbox, receiving a variety of requests and queries.
6. Achieve ambitious close timelines.
7. Prepare journal entries.
8. Ensure adherence to a strict control environment within the Accounts Receivable department.
9. Document processes and keep documentation up to date.
10. Prepare GL, debtor & bank reconciliations.
Requirements of the Accounts Receivable Specialist Job:
1. The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position brings a minimum of 3 years' cash application experience or experience in a similar accounting analysis-based role.
2. You have strong numerical and analytical skills which you can apply when reviewing ecommerce payments and files.
3. Your intermediate Microsoft Excel ability will aid you in managing data effectively.
4. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly beneficial.
