Senior HR Generalist - Maternity Leave Cover
This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave and will provide dedicated HR consultation, generalist, and recruiting support to our internal customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Provide HR advice and guidance to managers.
* Foster positive employee relations.
* Recruit candidates.
* Manage performance.
* Lead compensation and benefits initiatives.
* Develop training programs.
Key Duties:
Recruiting:
* Sources, screens and recruits qualified candidates.
* Reviews resumes and conducts phone screens.
* Evaluates applications for job fit.
* Creates and implements process improvements.
* Works closely with Hiring Managers.
* Facilitates the job requisition process.
* Built and maintains a pipeline of high potential candidates.
Employee Relations/Performance Management:
* Provides managers with consultation and support with Performance Management activities.
* Guides managers as they handle performance issues.
* Resolves employee relations issues.
* Applies and interprets policies and procedures.
* Ensures compliance with EU Directives and Irish Employment Law.
Learning and Development:
* Conducts internal training for New Hire Orientation, interviewing skills, and other HR related topics.
* Provides one on one coaching and career development counsel to managers and employees.
* Helps employees with development planning and goal setting.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree.
* 5-7 years recruitment experience in a professional, fast paced environment.
* 5-7 years of employee relations experience.
* 3 years leading training initiatives as well as HR Projects.
* CIPD qualified or studying for this qualification.
Skills:
A strong understanding of human resources principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to lead and develop teams are essential for this role.
