Project Quantity Surveyor Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in Dublin. As a key member of their construction team, you will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs, preparing detailed cost plans and estimates, administering contract terms and conditions, overseeing the procurement process, and producing regular financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Management: Ensure accurate budgeting and control of all project costs.
* Budget Preparation: Develop detailed cost plans and estimates to support timely budgeting.
* Contract Administration: Manage contract terms and conditions, claims, variations, and final accounts.
* Procurement: Oversee the selection and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers.
* Valuations: Prepare and submit accurate monthly valuations for timely invoicing.
* Reporting: Produce regular financial reports, including cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and profitability analysis.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with a Main Contractor.
* Strong technical understanding of quantity surveying practices, cost management, and contract administration.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective liaison with team members and stakeholders.
* Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.
Salary Package:
€70k - €80k + DOE, plus vehicle/car allowance, fuel card, pension, life assurance, and healthcare benefits.
