New role: Office Administrator / Accounts Assistant
CareerWise Recruitment are delighted to be assisting a Sports Club in Cork City on their search for a 3-day-a-week Office Administrator / Accounts Assistant.
This is a perfect role for somebody looking to jump back into the working world or for someone who only wants to work part-time if they have a busy personal schedule.
About the Role
1. Provide general support to members and visitors, including answering and directing calls/emails or face-to-face queries.
2. Monitor membership changes and develop and maintain suitable filing systems, both manual and electronic.
3. Prepare and monitor invoices, process online payments, credit card payments, cheques, and all other relevant payments.
4. Carry out daily administrative duties.
5. Process payroll for all staff on a weekly basis.
6. Keep accurate financial records through Sage accounting software, including inputting of invoices and processing payments.
7. Run reports as required for the treasurer and management.
8. Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Desired Experience
1. Minimum three years’ experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or admin role.
2. Proficient Sage accounting software experience.
3. Proficient in payroll processing.
4. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office tools.
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks as required.
6. Ability to work as part of a team.
7. Ability to work on own initiative.

Part-time 3 days per week
