Our client, a well-established building contractor, has a vacancy for a Site Clerk in Carrigtwohill Co. Cork.
You will be based on a pharmaceutical construction site and will be responsible for assisting the senior management team coordinate site activities.
The role entails full time hours Monday to Friday and will last at least a year in duration.
A competitive hourly pay rate is on offer to the successful applicant.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site based role to co-ordinate all activities related to site administration for between the project team, the client and sub-contractors.
2. Preparing and managing the project specific company inductions liaising with client project team and security.
3. Preparing and managing the project specific company orientation liaising with EHS project team.
4. Maintain a filing system that supports efficient information management.
5. Undertake various functions related to document control, document archiving, uploading documents and assisting onboarding contractors to project common data environment.
6. Administration duties including preparation and formatting of letters, reports, and minutes of meetings to company standards, filing, uploading documents, arranging meetings.
7. Managing the company site teams training and meeting schedules.
Experience & Skills
1. Experience working for a construction company is desired.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in administration.
3. Ability and willingness to learn.
4. Well organised and self-motivated.
5. Diligent and an analytical thinker.
6. Excellent document preparation and formatting skills.
7. Ability to prioritise work, multitask and troubleshoot.
Required:
1. Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite including Excel.
