Contract: Permanent
Working Model: Hybrid Working Model (two days in the office, three days working remote on a weekly basis.
Flexibility to work additional days in the office will be required depending on business demands).

About the Role: The Legal Executive will work within IPB's in-house law firm - Canal Quarter Solicitors (CQS) - and will support its Solicitors in Personal Injury Defence Litigation.
Responsibilities include assisting its Solicitors managing injury claims, coordinating experts, preparing for negotiations, and trial assistance.
CQS falls within the Claims Department and collaborates closely with the Claims Handlers.
To be successful in the role you will be accountable for: Managing injury claims across all court jurisdictions, creating case files, drafting legal documents, and tracking deadlines to ensure proactive case progression.
Liaising with the Claims Department, Solicitors, Barristers, opposing Counsel, and expert witnesses to coordinate case strategy and proceedings.
Preparing case files, legal documentation, and supporting Solicitors in settlement negotiations and trial proceedings.
Contributing to general legal duties as required.
What we're looking for: Relevant professional or third-level qualification, preferably in Legal Studies, with experience in insurance or injury claims litigation.
Organised and detail-oriented, with strong administration, multitasking, and case management skills to work independently.
Effective communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, committed to a customer-focused and quality-driven approach.
Proficient in case management systems and office software, with the ability to work efficiently in a predominantly paperless environment.
Adaptable and results-driven, with a strong understanding of litigation processes, the ability to meet deadlines, and perform under pressure.
