Research Officer (Caring Employers Programme)
Family Carers Ireland is recruiting a Research Officer for the Caring Employers Programme, reporting to the Marketing Manager.
The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of the Caring Employers project, which aims to support family carers who juggle paid employment and caring responsibilities.
This role involves identifying and recruiting new member targets, conducting research, and working with companies to provide practical supports for their employees who are family carers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in engaging stakeholders, excellent relationship management skills, and experience in conducting research.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the Caring Employers project
* Conduct research and surveys to identify the needs of family carers
* Work with companies to provide practical supports for their employees who are family carers
* Identify and recruit new member targets
* Disseminate reports and findings to key stakeholders
Requirements:
* Minimum three years' post-graduate experience in a professional environment
* Experience in copywriting and design a bonus
* Excellent IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and survey platforms such as Survey Monkey
* Awareness of digital media techniques and virtual technologies
* Proven networking skills and flexibility in attitude and approach
* Influencing, negotiation, and facilitation skills
Terms & Conditions:
Fixed term contract up to 31st December 2026. The remuneration package includes an annual salary and access to a defined contribution pension scheme.
