The client, a semi-state power generation entity, is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of their power plants in Offaly. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of the plants.

Main Responsibilities:

* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to maximize plant availability and efficiency while advancing green initiatives aligned with the client's strategy.

* Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the maintenance teams, ensuring alignment with operations teams and adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.

* Spare Part Management: Oversee strategic spare part management, purchasing, and contract management to meet company standards and support operational needs.
">
* Outage Planning: Coordinate outage planning and delivery to ensure safe and timely execution within budget constraints.
">
* Plant Business Management System: Implement and coordinate the Plant Business Management System, interfacing with trading teams, regulatory authorities, and accreditation bodies.

* Talent Development: Develop resource and succession plans for the maintenance team, ensuring they are equipped to meet ambitious targets.

* Culture and Safety: Foster a culture of health and safety, ensuring compliance with safe systems of work and promoting employee well-being.

Requirements:

* Qualifications: BSc in Engineering or related technical discipline.

* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field, preferably in large-scale thermal power plant or heavy industrial maintenance.

* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct teams effectively at a middle management level.

* People Management: Excellent people management skills required.
