Catalyx is seeking an Operations Team Lead to join our team and work on our customer site in Cork.

Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and leadership to Inspectors and Technicians to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to standards.
Act as the first point of escalation for team members.
Regularly monitor performance, personnel behaviour and address any non-compliance as required.
Support technicians through relevant 1-1 feedback and performance review discussions Co-Ordinate and monitor training requirements and completion for the team.
Manage team leave and time and attendance Ensure the team adhere consistently to SOPs and cGMPs Manage and address any performance and personnel issues Oversee the onboarding, training, and skill development of team members.
Ensure all team members are proficient in operating equipment, following SOPs, and adhering to cGMP standards.
Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Ensure all activities comply with SOPs, Master Batch Records, cGMPs, and safety regulations.
Perform regular audits to maintain high-quality standards and report deviations.
Quickly assess and resolve operational challenges,, workflow issues, and quality concerns.
Collaborate with supervisors and other departments as needed.
Act as the primary liaison between the team and Operations Manager.
Provide regular updates on team performance, KPIs, and any operational issues.
Monitor and manage resources to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Champion a culture of safety by enforcing safety policies, leading by example, and ensuring the team complies with all safety procedures.
Investigate and report safety incidents.
Oversee accurate and timely completion of ERP/MES transactions, batch records, and other documentation.
Verify the correctness of entries and resolve discrepancies.
Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and motivate team members to meet or exceed performance expectations.
Step in to assist with operational tasks when needed, including manual operations, inspection, and equipment operation, to ensure production targets are met.
Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve or exceed targets.
Recognise and report any deviations from accepted or usual practices.
Other support duties as required.
Oversee and monitor the time management system to ensure accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of all team activities, addressing discrepancies and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and timelines.
Skills and Experience: A minimum of a relevant level 6 qualification or equivalent GMP experience Demonstrated skills and abilities with an interest for operating complex processes in a regulated environment.
Minimum of 3 years relevant industrial experience in a cGMP related team supporting supervisory functions.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills with established interpersonal skills.
PC Literacy and file navigation.
Demonstrates ability to follow direction and work with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail.
A can-do attitude towards customer delivery and performance.
Works well as part of a Team.
