Medical, Vision, & Dental insurance options!403(b) retirement plan options with an employer match!Plenty of paid time off!Annual pay increases!Student tuition reimbursement & scholarship opportunities to help you reach your career goals through continued education!Opportunities for career growth within FVD!Responsibilities: Must possess working knowledge of commercial facilities management experience:Plumbing SystemsElectrical & Emergency Power SystemsHVACLife Safety SystemsProvide 5-Star Service for our Amazing Residents!Build relationships with our wonderful residents!Work with a high-quality, collaborative team.Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.Work on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.Maintain building HVAC to ensure climate control in the facility functions properly.Basic knowledge and safe operation of power tools.Maintain and utilize tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.Report potential safety concerns, incidents, and/or accidents to Plant Manager or HR.Occasionally support other FVD departments as circumstances require.Complete all administrative requirements and forms accurately and in accordance with established policies & procedures (i.e.
time clock, logs, checklists, etc.
)Participate in safety inspections and alert Plant Supervisor of any safety hazards immediately.
Comply with all safety policies and procedures established by FVD.Participate in and meet deadlines for all mandatory training programs.Support and adhere to all regulatory requirements (local, state, and federal).Follow all workplace safety standards at all times to ensure a safe workplace is maintained.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool systems.May be called to respond for emergency or overtime work on weekends and holidays as needed.Qualifications: A desire to make a difference!Willingness to grow!3-5 years of maintenance experience.Comprehension of OSHA and other industry-related safety standards and guidelines.Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and completing work assignments through an online maintenance management system.High school diploma preferred or equivalent.Valid driver's license.Computer knowledge.Must possess working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include, but not limited to:PlumbingElectricalHVACLife Safety
