This is a unique in-house opportunity suited to experienced Top Tier Law Firm Litigators seeking a challenging and rewarding role outside of private practice - or in a relevant industry role.

Our client is an entrepreneurial organisation, in a growing specialist market, with 140+ staff and 10 offices globally.
This is a strategic hire for our client as part of the ongoing Irish growth plans.
The Opportunity: Join an expanding Dublin operation at a formative and exciting time in its growth phase, and part of a wider global Claims team.
Work closely with Head of Claims (UK) & dotted line to CEO Ireland.
In-depth exposure to claims resulting from some of the largest and most complex M&A transactions across EMEA.
Regular dealings with Top 10/ Magic Circle/ Big Law law firms.
Career progression - potentially to MD in due course DOE.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: Manage and lead the investigation of claims on our client's policies from insureds throughout EMEA.
Analyse complex legal issues.
Instruct high-profile third-party professional advisors in relevant local jurisdictions as appropriate (e.g., tax, legal, financial).
Manage communications and correspondence with insureds, advisors and brokers.
Lead and manage settlement negotiations and resolution of claims.
Liaise with a range of stakeholders including clients, brokers, and partner carriers throughout the industry and EMEA.
Assist with the assessment of submissions and play an active part in the underwriting and policy negotiation of the contingent liabilities risk products practice.
Ad hoc projects and duties as required.
Key Skills & Qualifications: Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 7 years' experience.
Experience in a Top Tier law firm (or equivalent) highly advantageous.
Ideally, prior M&A transactions and/or post M&A/ M&A related disputes experience.
Proven track record working on high-value, contentious matters.
Proven record successfully servicing high-calibre white-collar clients e.g., private equity firms.
Superb oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to lead critical calls with key stakeholders, often multi-disciplinary and across jurisdictions.
Excellent attention to detail with superb organizational and analytical skills.
Strong team player but also self-motivated.
Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working globally and/or an additional EU language beneficial.
