Tolling Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance of predominantly Electrical and Mechanical Systems, including administration of the Maintenance Management System. They will participate in Maintenance Management meetings and workshops, serve as system owner of complete systems, and provide on-call cover on a rostered basis.
Responsibilities Include:
* Maintenance of predominately Electrical and Mechanical Systems.
* Maintenance Management System administration.
* Participate in Maintenance Management meetings and workshops.
* System owner of complete systems e.g. Toll Control equipment and building facilities.
* Provide On-Call cover on a rostered basis.
* Assist in the implementation of equipment and process upgrade projects.
* Manage and support projects to improve equipment reliability, performance, and availability.
* Develop, manage, and supervise projects undertaken by the Maintenance Department.
* Completion of Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance paperwork.
* Contribute to the improvement of the Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance systems.
* Control Safe Work Permit and other safety registers.
* Participate in Health & Safety meetings and management of assigned actions resulting from action plans.
* Prepare and review internal procedures, method statements, and risk assessments.
* Ensure Health and Safety and Quality compliance.
* Review and approve external contractors' procedures, method statements, and risk assessments for their works on site.
* Responsible for the management of local contracts (appointment, monitoring, and evaluation of Contractors).
* Work with engineers and suppliers to identify and solve problems and to improve the reliability of tolling systems.
* Support the Management team in delivery of the Operations and Maintenance agreement.
* Assist with budget and expenditure reports.
* Deliver Inductions and Toolbox talks.
* Develop and manage small projects.
* Other maintenance activities as directed.
Requirements:
* 2nd level education
* 5 years previous experience as a maintenance technician
* NFQ Level 6 (e.g. Advanced/Higher Certificate in electrical/mechanical/computer systems)
* Computer literacy – Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / Report writing and experience in trouble shooting
* Safe Pass
* Desirable to the Role:
* Tolling IT systems (software/hardware)
* MEWPS
* Working at heights
* H&S Related training – First Aid, Fire Warden, Manual Handling. Safety Rep.
* ECDL or equivalent
* Other complementary work-related training courses/qualifications
Experience/ Knowledge Required:
* Relevant technical maintenance experience
* Experience in general office administration
* Experience of developing and implementing programmes of planned/preventative maintenance
* Experience in implementing Company policies and procedures
* Knowledge of the standard methods, equipment, materials, tools
* Awareness of the occupational hazards associated with the full range of activities involved in the maintenance works
* Awareness of the safety precautions necessary to control these hazards

* Willingsness to: Provide out of-office-emergency response.
* Work outdoors and in adverse weather conditions
* Perform night work
* Full Driving Licence
Salary: 42k – 50K
