Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel is currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the Team on a part-time basis.

Key responsibilities will include: Maintenance of creditors ledger balance, co-ordinating approval and processing of invoices, monthly payment runs, remittance advice, Front office account reconciliation.
Maintenance of purchase order system.
Maintain records for audit and assisting with audit requests and assist in preparation of reports and ongoing projects Compliance with internal financial protocols.
Maintenance of intercompany accounts Debtors / creditors analysis, maintaining invoices, billing and weekly/monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Dealing with accounts queries as and when they arise.
Preparing payment run files on a monthly basis.
Accounts Payable duties.
Responsibility of sales invoice processing and data entry, Preparing sales reports and analysis including maintenance of cash reports, Debtor cash collections and cash allocations, to include processing credit card payments and bank payments, Other Ad Hoc duties as required.
Ideal candidate for this role: Part Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician is desired, but not essential.
Previous experience in the Hospitality Industry is an advantage.
Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite Excellent IT skills, specifically in excel and SAGE.
Have exceptional organisational and communication skills.
Attention to detail is essential.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while prioritising tasks.
Team player with an ability to work on own initiative.
Strong numeracy, analytical and interpretive skills, have the ability to deliver financial data in a user friendly and relevant manner.
