A top Wealth Management Company is looking for a candidate with over 2 to 3 years Financial Advisory experience to join this growing Company.
Salary: 50,000 Euro to 60,000 Euro
Responsibilities:
1. Carry out consultations and obtain the relevant information from individuals from both the private and public sector to gain a full understanding of their aspirations, needs and investment objectives, including risk profiling.
2. Help the individual plan and achieve their financial goals.
3. Ensure the individual has the necessary protection for themselves and their dependents should the unexpected happen in the future.
4. Aid your understanding of the individual’s existing financial investments and align with goals for the future.
5. Help the individual plan for their retirement and prepare for the lifestyle they want in retirement.
6. Undertake a full review of the client’s financial needs and goals and ensure a first-class personalised and impartial service is provided.
7. Arrange a follow-up meeting to deliver the recommended solutions to improve the individual’s financial plan.
8. Provide expert and impartial advice for organisations and their employees.
9. Produce a comprehensive report detailing relevant fact-find information, providing full details of risk profiling and any recommendations, including rationale.
10. Comply with the Central Bank of Ireland’s Minimum Competency Standards and Consumer Protection Code and any such standards as set out by the organisation.
Skills & Experience:
1. Understand and be able to explain in generic terms the merits and detractions of all protection and investment types and the differences between the various pension schemes available and provide guidance on suitability.
2. Good knowledge of personal taxation in particular, income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax, including ability to demonstrate the benefits of utilising available tax reliefs, where appropriate.
3. Understand and be able to assess suitability of available pension income options including annuities, phased retirement and income drawdown.
4. Be able to explain the benefits, merits and detractions of a self-invested personal pension.
5. Understand the current rules applying to approved and unapproved company share schemes.
6. Understand the implications of current pension legislation and able to calculate allowable pension contributions taking into consideration existing pension arrangements, including the effects of pension contribution tax relief on an individual’s tax computation.
7. Knowledge of the regulatory environment, role of the Financial Conduct Authority, money laundering regulations and data protection.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
