Job Title: Administrative Support Assistant
About ONE
ONE is a registered charity that provides vital support to Irish veterans in need. Our primary objective is to offer accommodation and advice through our nationwide network of Branches and Veteran Support Centres.
Work Schedule
This part-time role requires 20 hours of work per week, with a fixed-term contract lasting three years. The initial six-month probationary period will be followed by regular performance evaluations.
Role Purpose
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Area Council and Branch network, helping to drive the organization's objectives forward.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Administration of ONE Accounts:
o Manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Engaging and Supporting Branches and Area Councils:
o Develop strong relationships with local teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Membership Administration:
o Oversee the register of members, manage membership applications, and process payments.
* Lottery Committee Support:
o Assist the Chairperson with financial administration and oversight of the weekly Lottery Bonus Ball draw.
* Shop Management:
o Oversee the sale of emblems, clothing, and merchandise, ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Financial Management Experience:
o A minimum of two years' experience using financial management software packages like Big Red Cloud.
* Understanding of ONE's Ethos:
o A clear comprehension of our organization's mission, values, and goals.
* Awareness of Area Council and Branch Network:
o An understanding of the role of our Area Council and Branch network within the overall organization.
