Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are on the lookout for an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our reputable construction team in Ireland. Key Responsibilities:
1. Take full responsibility for managing one or more projects from initial conception through to completion, ensuring they meet time and budget constraints.
2. Develop and prepare initial budgets and comprehensive cost plans that align with project goals.
3. Lead the commercial management of fast-track projects, implementing strategies to optimize costs and enhance profitability.
4. Produce detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and related tender documentation.
5. Ensure compliance with current building contracts, managing all aspects of contract administration and addressing variations and claims.
6. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, providing insightful updates and reporting on project status and financial performance.
7. Guide and mentor junior quantity surveyors, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional growth.
8. Leverage computerized bill production systems to streamline cost management processes.
Requirements:
1. A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
2. Relevant professional experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on managing complex projects.
3. Strong familiarity with current forms of building contracts and industry standards.
4. Experience with computerized bill production systems is an advantage.
5. Proven capability to manage projects from inception through to completion, tailored to their size and complexity.
6. Expertise in preparing initial budgets and cost plans, with a strong background in the commercial management of fast-track projects.
7. Excellent client-facing skills, demonstrating effective direct client reporting.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced professional environment while leading a multidisciplinary team.
