Stock Controller | Permanent | Dublin 22 The Client: With headquarters in Dublin West, our client is a leading supplier to the transport industry with a well-established team. They are currently seeking to recruit a Stock Controller on a full-time, permanent basis. The Role: As a Stock Controller, you will be required to support key functions within Production and the Warehouse environment, managing relationships with external suppliers and the sourcing and purchasing of stock lines. The role will require extensive administrative and customer relationship management activities. Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday Length of contract: Permanent Working arrangements: Fully office based Key areas of responsibility: Management of purchasing function for the organisation, managing supplier relationships To work closely with current suppliers, reviewing pricing routinely to secure competitive purchase price for product suite To purchase one-off stock items as requested by internal departments, in accordance with internal policies and procedures To communicate status updates on orders in a timely manner, both internally and externally To continually monitor stock levels, ensuring storage optimisation To manage internal systems, tracking price variances and producing reports for the senior team To monitor processes and suggest improvements where necessary To support other functions in production and the warehouse as and when required Requirements: Previous experience in a busy administrative role, ideally in a procurement, purchasing or stock management role Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and ERP systems Strong analytical skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong organisational skills and multi-tasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with staff at all levels In Return: Annual salary equivalent €38-40k (negotiable depending on experience) Parking available on-site Additional benefits such as Bike to Work, EAP and further education WHY WORK WITH STAFFLINE RECRUITMENT IRELAND?
