We are growing our Deloitte Consulting practice and are seeking an experienced Director to join our Strategy and Business Design team.
Role Overview
* Develop new strategies, shape and deliver business transformation, and design operating models.
* Shape and initiate strategic direction (both organic and inorganic), define vision and choices, support performance and enable change.
* Lead and learn from a group of experienced strategists and industry experts from a diverse range of backgrounds.
* Participate in the wider Deloitte Strategy and Business Design community in Europe and globally.
* Build a network with industry-experts across Deloitte Consulting, in digital, marketing, financial advisory, regulatory and operations.
Your Responsibilities
* Work on multi-disciplinary teams to develop, lead and implement strategic projects within organisations.
* Develop and leverage Strategy and Business Design offerings that resonate within the Irish market and beyond.
* Make an impact in the market and understand leading industry practices across the C-Level ecosystem.
* Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team aligned to our Strategy and Business Design portfolio.
* Work with various high-profile clients across key industries such as Consumer & Industrial products, Life Sciences and Technology, Media & Telecoms.
About You
* Extensive experience in leadership roles, preferably a balanced mix of consulting and industry experience - with a focus on strategic impact.
* Able to build and influence strong relationships at a senior level both with clients and the firm's local & global leadership.
* Strong strategy knowledge and skills combined with a commercial and entrepreneurial mind-set required to expand this business line.
* Able to identify and convert leads into on-sell / cross-sell opportunities, write winning proposals and lead bid teams.
* Able to quickly identify business challenges and to focus on delivering results and generating business value across different functions.
* Experience in project delivery, including deployment strategies, pace of delivery, minimising risk and time to value.
* Understanding the importance of organisational & people change management, stakeholder management and data.
* Articulate on factors influencing client and industry decision-making, and an appetite for creative problem-solving.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills (including exposure to public forums / larger audiences / networking events).
