Join a highly technical and hands-on team in Dublin, developing a modern big data analytics platform. As a Data Architect, you will design and implement a comprehensive data architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You must have a broad solution architecture background and the ability to speak to all components of a modern data platform—including ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and governance.Key Responsibilities:End-to-end solution design for a modern data platform, covering cloud, integration, security, and performance.Develop robust data models (including Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modeling).Architect and optimize data pipelines, storage solutions, and data lakes/warehouses.Apply deep engineering principles to develop scalable, maintainable, and secure data solutions.Define and enforce best practices in data governance, lineage, and quality.Work closely with data engineers, providing hands-on guidance on coding, ETL processes, and DevOps.Ensure alignment between business needs and technical architecture through strong stakeholder engagement.Key Requirements:Extensive solution architecture experience, covering all components of modern data platforms.Proven hands-on experience in cloud-based data technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Deep expertise in Data Vault 2.0, relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data modeling.Strong engineering background with Python, Java, Scala, and DevOps/CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins).Experience designing scalable and secure ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, and PySpark.Hands-on experience implementing data security, governance, and compliance frameworks.Preferred:Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake expertise.Familiarity with healthcare industry standards (EDI, HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).Experience with AI/ML model deployment.This role requires strong hands-on expertise, deep engineering knowledge, and a holistic understanding of modern data platforms.
